Pretoriuskop Rest Camp is the oldest Rest camp in the Kruger Park and has a licensed restaurant and cafeteria. There are many wilderness trails in the area with game walks and drives that can be arranged if requested and the camp also boasts a natural rock swimming pool which ensures for proper cool down after an exciting safari drive in the heat of the South African summer months.
The camp is situated in the southwestern part of the Kruger National Park and is only 9 km from Numbi Gate, 60 km from the Paul Kruger gate and 50 km from Skukuza Rest Camp.
Sightings that have been recorded in and around Pretoriuskop include, Sable Antelope, Lichtenstein’s Hartebeest, Wild Dogs, Kudu, Brown-headed Parrot, Spotted hyena and occasional leopard sightings.
